12 December 2011 - Bruxelles The new LIFE Program: proposal of the European Commission to increase funding for environment and climate issues The Commission proposes to allocate 3,2 billion over the next period (2014-2020) to a new Programme for the Environment and Climate Action (LIFE).
The new programme will build on the success of the existing LIFE+ program but will be reformed to have a greater impact, be simpler and flexible and have a significantly increased budget also mobilising support from other funding sources.
The simplification combined with a specific tool, is aimed at promote the consistency and the added value of the EU intervention. Read the complete news
9 December 2010 - Brussels Public consultation on LIFE+ 2014-2020 The European Commission has launched a public consultation on the future financial instrument for the environment for the period 2014-2020 (continuation of LIFE+).
