Bacteriological values found in 51% of 104 sampling carried out in 16 Italian lakes of ten regions, by Legambiente (Italian environmental association) are illegal.
These are the main findings of the 2013 campaign, which identified as the most polluted the Lake of Como, where on 16 points where water samples were taken, 12 have resulted as critical, 9 of which are ‘heavily polluted’ and 3 ‘polluted’.
