On Monday 17 October from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and in the afternoon from 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., a one full day of exchange on the issues of grazing and grass-fed breeding in the Apennine area, will take place in Florence at the Agricultural School of the University of Florence.
The meeting will be attended by Operational Groups and LIFE Projects leaders of research-action and innovation initiatives in the Apennines to exchange and compare technical, management, and technological innovations in the management of extensive livestock and grasslands.
LIFE Grace project is also invited and will participate in the meeting. Luca Colombo, FIRAB Secretary General and partner of the LIFE Grace project will share the evidence gathered in the discussions with breeders and supply chain companies, management approaches generated by the project, the needs for technical-scientific support and policies expressed by the operators.
Furthermore, during the day, there will be an opportunity to discuss the new CAP-RDP programming and any measures supporting extensive farms.
