On June 19, the Forum “Catering lesson in Rome” was held on the theme of catering and for the development of continuous training for operators, organized by Visioneroma.
The event took place at the Palazzo della Cancelleria, in Piazza della Cancelleria 1 and was promoted by Visioneroma but also by the Academy of Gastronomic Culture and the Confraternity of Santa Maria della Quercia dei Macellai.
The meeting was full of interventions, those of Piergiorgio Tupini, Rosaria Marino, and Gianfranco Piccioni (Visioneroma), the contribution of the Presidents of the most representative sector categories, the intervention of the Councillor who is managing the Food Policy in Rome (Sabrina Alfonsi) and the observations and testimonies of restaurateurs and operators participating in the debate.
Among the speakers also Alba Pietromarchi, expert researcher of FIRAB bio supply chain and partner of the LIFE Grace project, who illustrated how the LIFE Grace project is promoting the development of a paradigm shift, a transition towards shared governance of the territory and the economy local, for the benefit of the farmers who work there and, above all, of the community closely linked to those territories. Everything is made by combining biodiversity, income generation, and social and organizational innovations, that be activated at the local level and in areas of environmental value.
