The ex situ conservation of Klasea lycopifolia, a species in Annex II of the Habitats Directive, continues successfully as part of the LIFE IMAGINE project.
The seedlings, born from seeds collected in the only two stations present in Umbria (Monte Pennino and Monte Faeto), were moved from the greenhouse to the isolator of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences of the University of Perugia in these first days of spring; this is the first step they must take for acclimatization and the subsequent movement into the external environment.
