The second year of monitoring of large carnivores carried out by the partners of the LIFE IMAGINE Project began a few months ago and we moved to the Orvieto and Terni areas.
On the basis of previous data and current reports, we continue with the installation and control of camera traps, the tool that helps detect the presence of the wolf and estimate its abundance in the regional territory in order to draw up a standard monitoring protocol that will continue to be used by the Umbria Region in future years.
